I've temporarily lost my Scope/ GS3 keytech. He has schooled me on most important stuff, however I'm saving file extensions from Kagi. and Celmo, plus Shayne Whites FM synth, but can't open the file. I'm dying to play with new toys but keep getting sent to a file extension website. I'm so lost and have lots of new toys to play with, but he is in Hawaii on the island of Kawaii. Understandably, he and his girl, who is also part of our crew cannot be reached. I suppose that contact with his own species would be a disappoinment right now. Any help would be appreciated very much.

Thanxs,
Jimmy V.

Well, if you are looking for new toys, maybe you should check out some of all the free plugins lying around. Did you ever check some of the links on Creamwares website, under plugins and 3rd party plugins: "free plugins", theres a list to sites where you'll find free plugin. Here's a link to get you started:

http://www.steckenleiter.de/ (Try out the pulsar pages  )

Some of the plugs want work because of thier age and "need" for an older SFP-version, but still it's an interesting voyage.

Oops, I just realized that your problem wasn't lack of new stuff, and maybe my "help" even makes it worse - which was never the intention... I don't really undstand your problem, so unfortunately I can't help you, maybe if you elaborate on your problem? Anyways, I hope you figure your problem out soon.

Cheers!

You want to open the .dev file? Have you tried dragging it into the project (routing window)?

Or is your problem Kagi related? From what I read, maybe the kagi website takes you elsewhere? http://www.kagi.com/ should do the trick, it works from here...

Again, not very sure what the problem is, please be more specific.

good point, Atom - I couldn't figure out what this could be about.

in this case the .dev or .mdl files should be moved to their respective folders inside the main SFP folder and then system should be restarted, so everything gets updated properly.
after this the new item will show up under the respective menu items.

example
c:sfpdevicessynth -> item appears in synth menu
c:sfpdeviceseffectsstereoreverb -> appears as a reverb plugin

cheers, Tom

Gents, Thank You For Your Concerns.
I'm afraid that all I'm good at is programming old analog synths, and playing a mean keyboard. I promise to force my key-tech into showing me all his little tricks when he returns. I've had incredible performances so far with GS3/Scope combo, and I'm afraid if I experiment,I could cause some damage, or extra OT pay that management will frown upon. So I will be content with current set-up.

Thank You Again Mi Amigos,
Jimmy V.
