There's a few things I need to fix in the mix, but I'm pretty happy with it; it's possibly the first track I've done which sounds better LOUD! :grin:

Both solo takes were done quite late last night but I'm happy enough with them to post the results for the time being. I'm thinking of making a bunch of samples up and playing those for the second "solo", keeping the first as an uninterrupted take (which will probably get re-done anyway).

Now I all need to do it transfer the 3 hours of video to disk and edit that down to five minutes or so...but my mate's camcorder is still broken :sad:

Statutory EU Hubird Warning Notice: may contain traces of guitar :wink:

All feedback welcome, as ever.

It's subliminal... :grin:

A few notes:

Bass is through the PSA-1, all guitar is through the POD.

All drums are from Battery apart from the main bass drum which is KickMe.

Synths are RavityS.

All mixing and effects are in Scope, with the exception of Reverb, which is Anwida's DX.

Mix #2. Second "solo" is now a bunch of samples played from the STS3000. The section after the solos is now more expansive (more like how I wanted it to sound). Quite a few other little tweaks to the mix. Still need a little tidying (and mastering) but this is much more like what I wanted.

"Eight layered guitars! Are you mad?"
"Yes" :grin:
