Hey folks

Just wondering about your experience with Solaris activation - was it quick?

I know John is usually very prompt, but i bought and downloaded Solaris over 2 weeks ago, sent the transfer string, and still no word.

Not sure how to proceed - hope everything is ok - things are getting a little urgent here with two film soundtracks crying out for a little Zargness

You could perhaps phone him, perhaps somebody has it and could post it to you through PM?

in my case it was VERY quick indeed, so something probably went wrong.
either the mail didn't get through or he's (possibly) travelling.

cheers, Tom

I'd guess that he's mislaid or didn't receive your activation request. Anything longer than 48 hrs is uncharacteristic for John. I would resend the request.

everything is possible, my 'infoATezsound.nl' is refused by Apple's ***@mac.com, I even don't get a 'refused'message...

A firewall could have blocked you, or you got drowned in a spam typhoon

He helped me out in a few hours once, in a one-two with Ralf
Try again, you'll be fine

Wayne (and others),

I just received yet another request from you for your Solaris key, and sent it to you. This is the 4th time I have sent you the registration key!

Someone recently alerted me to this message on PlanetZ, so obviously there's been some serious problem getting email to you. I do try to get things resolved as quickly as possible, and was surprised to read this.

For your info, here are the dates I sent the keys:

1) August 16, 11:21 AM
2) August 19, 9:57 AM
3) August 29, 12:13 AM
4) Sept. 3, 6:58 PM

I received your order on August 16 at 8:07 AM.

(I just wanted to post here to let readers know that I do try to get things processed as quickly as possible.)

In cases like this, it's unfortunate that so much time has gone by before realizing there's some kind of mail problem. I'm sorry for Wayne, and he's been unusually patient with this under the circumstances!

regards,

Definitely a mail problem, still no keys!

I had the same problem with Spacef a while back - not sure what to do, no-one's in my blocked sender's list...

Maybe you could PM them to me here, John.

Sorry for the kerfuffle

All fixed, woohoo!

'Twas ghosts in the machine, conspiring against us. John Bowen remains the top quickdraw synthslinger in these parts, no question

And bugger me, what a synth!
