I am running 2 Pulsar II boards. Samplitude 8.2 is my recording software. I am having problems getting my keyboard, an Alesis QS7 to make any sounds when hooked up through the midi connections.

Routing: Pulsar midi sources hooked up to Pulsar sequence destinations.
QS7: midi out enabled
VSTi: Atmosphere, loaded onto track in Samplitude... midi object showing.

I am unable to get Atmosphere played by the keyboard... (I can make atmosphere sounds with the samp midi editor.... laborious process).

Any help is welcome!

Thanks,
Mike

Is Samplitude set to Midi track and is Creamware midi set as master. You also have to activate Midi monitor in samplitude.

Enable input monitoring in Samp - click the REC M button on the transport panel.
Now select the midi track for monitoring - with the appropriate Creamware Midi In connected - it should flash when there's midi activity.

Creamware is master.
Samp track is set to midi.
Atmosphere synth is selected as output.
Record button is enabled.
Forced monitoring is enabled.
Software monitoring is enabled.
Midi channel is set to Creamware 1 in/out.
ASIO 32 bit float, 48khz.
QS7 set to Midi Out.
Still no signal gets from the QS7 to Atmosphere??????

Put a midi monitor on your Pulsar midi source - what ever is connected to your keys - to make sure midi data is getting in to Scope.
