I opened Pulsar as usual, and got a message saying “don’t mess about with copy protection” what the heck is this? I didn’t install anything new what this warning is all about? Have you ever got one?

Is it a one time event? If so, I wouldn't bother with it. If it keeps returning even after reboot and maybe a driver re-installation, you may want to turn off HT if that's enabled. I got the error all the time, back in the days of 3.1a or 2.04 when I was using a dual p3 machine, which I eventually swapped with a more suited P4 - just before they fixed the issue

It's a problem of hardware/key recognition IMO. Maybe someone else can shed some more light on that?

Thank you atOm for your answer! Fortunately it didn't happen again, so it's probably what you say. Cheers.

So now and then I randomly had the same warning when I was running on v3.1c.
I haven't had this warning for quite some time now.
It's a bit similar to the import keyfile.skf issue. Somtimes I still get this message when I start my computer. I've learned to live with it

hi,
I'm experiencing it from time to time while on WinXP p4. I think it's a fight between Scope copy protection system and WinXp security system, never had such message under win 98 SE never,
cheers,
