Nice groove, i'm actually working with saxes at the momnent as well, and was just wondering what you used on the sax? i'm using a combo of psyQ and master verb, its a really natural sound you got going there, especially like the playing around 2.30 and the fills near the end.

It's MasterVerb only, nothing else. No compressor, no nothing.

recorded with a Rode NT1000 thru ART DPS tube preamp going digital (spdif out) to pulsar.

I was playing approximately 60-70cm away from the mic.

Much more presence of everything in the mix, good work, for me the synth comes in a little too loud, maybe ramp it a little, just for the starting couple of notes? A little more crack to the snare later in the tune would really drive the groove.
Hope thats helpful

Nice beat, Marcus.

There is a strange flange coming from your sax at the beginning. It does sound much better when it comes back after the synths.

You still need to keep working on that tone of yours. Put more diaphragm in your breathing, your tone will get rounder and you'll be able to get some nice vibrato going as well.

Avoir du temps, on pourrait peut-être faire quelque chose ensemble?
Are we listening?..

Thanks alot Nestor. I don't have too much time actually right now, but vacation is coming very soon

I'll probably put a portion of those vacation to work my sax in general. It's needed...
