Hi,
bought a new midi controller that can be used either via USB or DC. Now when switched to USB, Scope does not receive midi messages from the controller unless you switch back to DC. I mean there is no response when playing the sampler or a synth in Scope, does anybody own such midi contoller USB and DC. It should work as the new ASB devices will be using USB ports and midi, thanks in advance for your feedback,
cheers,
Ps: despite this, my STS 5000 has not crushed since using this controller, I'm a happy man now, I can make musing using the sampler,
Edirol PCR-50 and Scope
If I understand correctly, the controller doesn't send directly to it's MIDI outputs in USB mode. All ports would be accessible as USB MIDI devices. Use midi-ox or your sequencer to forward the ports. Using a sequencer, enable monitoring on a MIDI track with controller as input, pulsar as output. Pulsar can be adressed via Sequencer Source or Hardware MIDI Source, whichever looks more convenient to you.

You've to press the v-link button in order to use Usb and Midi ports at the same time; although, doing so, I get a strange behaviour I haven't understood yet (it's like external midi device get a program change each note I press).
I think no matter if power supply come from Usb or DC.
You can route Usb in Scope by your sequencer or other software interfaces like Midi OX if your projects and your rig require it.
What are you exactly trying to do?
