anyone knows how to achieve the same result as in the jp8080 x mode
it;s a kind of frequensy modulation on osc 1 by osc 2 but i can;t replicate exactly...

I also like the X-mod(as they call it) on the JP, and I have tried to accomplish something similar on the Modular2 but no, it never sounds the same- not with X-mod nor FM, so... As the overall quality of the JP´s signal is much better than the Modular2, maybe the JP also handles Osc. Modulation better- hence the difference in sound.

X-mod is the absolute hardest sound to emulate on other machines. I've had plenty of hardware synths - many with powerful X-mod controls, but could NEVER get the same sound from one machine to another...

I believe that it's the fm circuit not the quality

What I find much more edge-cutting on the JP8080 is its awesome "feedback OSC", but it is only available monophonic. It sounds really absolutely wicked...
Hmm, does anyone have an idea how to replicate that in Mod.2?
