Privacy violations
Hi PlanetZ people
I wanna write this before conclude my posting for some time.
Maybe a bit out of context, out of mind. Who don't like weird stories please don't read further.
I'm sorry for any spelling mistakes as soon as I hope to emerge clear in my writing, since my mood now is not, not good.
I want to talk about PRIVACY VIOLATIONS.
Darkrezin, I wonder how come something similar don't happen to you too. I guess you express your ideas just on the net with your pseudonym, or England is more liberal than here. [have a look to Bombs in London topic]
I'm sure I was identified.
There's a lot of little things making me thinking so, but none of them is demonstrable with certainty neither with proofs, and I'm not sure myself my mind is right or it's paranoia.
From this my mood.
Before tell you about something happened in these days I wanna state in advance I've not committed any crime and I'm not officially inquired for anything.
These are some of the facts. I'm conscious it can as well appear trivial after all this preamble, but...
One of these days I've sent some money to a friend in a foreign state. I used a letter envelope by ordinary mail to avoid fees.
The day this friend comunicated me by the web that he received the letter with the money, I went out at night by car without fixed destination as sometimes I use to do, and I had to see a car of the Revenue Guard Corps parked with lighted headlamps in a side road, along a road I use to go. The agents was in the car. I passed two time again with a gap of less of 10 minutes and the agents still was in the car. The third time I passed the car was gone.
Big brother is watching you, George Orwell wrote.
Ordinary madness.
On Friday I wrote here, referred to some of the G8 leaders:
Leave the limousine and go wait for the train in the underground stations! And other stuff.
On Saturday night I went out again.
I'm single.
In my mind I thought to meet the girl staying at the corner sometimes I use to see.
She's clandestine immigrant and here police close an eye and let them in the streets, but I guess anyway conduct the things asking them about the clients, giving them behaviour directives to follow with some people .
Well, on saturday night a very big car never seen before was parked beside that girl with a man inside talking her. She made me a maybe bit embarrassed mention of greeting. I passed away.
I passed again and again and the car and the man were always there, till I was tired and went home.
Before home, I stopped for get cigarettes. While I got off the car, another car arrived. From this car got off two men, one which has a showy putting in plaster (not properly plaster it was a neopren one) keeping one arm almost to the shoulder height.
Less ordinary madness?
Are not the only things making me talk about privacy violation. There's too much similar things; if I would be able to remeber them all I think my life could begin to appear to me too much similar to a kind of nightmare .
I think probably speak about this on the net could turn out as a mistake. But I want not bend myself. Free speech is a right i can't renounce.
Crazy horse.

unless you use special 'anonymer services' (messing up IPs) or log in from a remote places (like an internet cafe), you'll always be identified on the net if someone is 'really' interested. On 2005-07-10 17:52, Cochise wrote:

imho it's just a matter of time until you can use internet services only with your real world id - not exactly amuzing...
cheers, Tom

Microsoft already adapts their Messenger to the new Belgian digital ID cards. Adobe/Macromedia are working on it too. Soon there will be no more need (or option) to log in with any nick, you will login with your ID card.
If you think you're being spied upon in real life, look out for these bowl camera's. We have them at the aiport since a couple of years, they're now becoming more widely used thoughout the cities, fuel stations etc. Taking CCTV to the next level, their software can determine and recognise objects, faces, licence plates, and in the end of the day it can make the footage.
If you want any privacy you should:
- use only cash to pay, withdraw money always from your local bank beforehand,
- avoid any member cards from supermarkets, fuel companies.
Using their affiliations and business structure, companies make a total profile of consumers using their shopping habits, holliday destinations etc. for personalised publicity. Verify the car publicity in your mailbox - are you getting BMW or Seat in the mail? They know how much you make.
For anonymous internet use, there's anonymous proxies that will re-route and mangle your traffic so your own ID stays hidden. Cookies collected at yahoo, hotmail, amazon.com etc from common advertisers tell the ads companies what webpages you've visited, what you search for, in other words everything about you. You will get personalised publicity. Not to make this world a better place, but to get money out of your wallet into theirs. We now all that, just no one cares.

Well, with all the problems Europe is facing up right now, I would not be surprised about people being investigated, there is nothing new with it. There is nothing wrong with it either as long as you are clear yourself; it is common place in the entire world today, after terrorist attacks, that foreigners are checked about their identity.
Problem I have with all these so called security measures, is that any normal person is tracked - people that want to hide, ie. real criminals, can go unnoticed. For example Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, one of the Al Qaeda leaders, saved his emails in his draft folder of hotmail and yahoo accounts, so the email is never really sent and cannot be read along the way. In his messages, he used words that fall out of the echelon/Beast search engine, they won't use words like 'bomb' or 'Pentagon', he inverted cyphers in phone numbers etc. These people use encryption and masquing methods that will not be traced and will slip the security maze.

Sorry I've posted this after Spirit's post, but something's happened while editing and it was erased.
I live between Europe and Africa, in a Mediterranean island called Sicily.
I know IP anonimizers, but don't use it.
I don't like to hide myself too much cause I don't think I'm doing something so bad.
Certainly I somehow try to hide my habits cause I'm not shure about WHO CAN GET THEM and HOW THEY CAN BE USED.
I would care of powerfull people conditioning my real life but... it's a good day to die. Alles klar herr "Kommissar"?
So now we have Karma police..

Cochise - that sounds spooky indeed. I've also seen evidence of weird stuff going on (someone I know, who researches the kind of thing we were talking about in the other thread, came home one day to find his bookmarks deleted). The US military certainly has incredibly advanced technology which can snoop on you if you're connected to the net, and there's not a lot you can do about it.
I also have nothing to hide, although sometimes that doesn't matter to these forces... I personally leave it in God's hands.

And now the EU is talking about more bull...
They want to record all our emails , and store it for at least 8 years.
And phonerecords . They want to store those too.
Now I can't say that wouldn't help a little bit in preventing 'Terrorism'. But darn , isn't that what privicy and freedom is all about? I've nothing to hide , but the most stupid thing attatched to this , is that we the tax payer have to pay for this large operation. What else do they have in store for us? Recording all GPS movements ? Implant me with a chip ? All of this because of 4 homegrown terrorist. Or that is what has beein told on the news.
I'm worried!

Some people can have favours from politic cause have men that can obtain lot of votes.
Lot of politics is colluded, so politic men could have not to change.
It could be really dangerous for me to follow this way.
Surely this create burnt land around me.
Do you think cosa nostra identified me and not the police?

Here the current government, since from his beginning, has, between the priorities in his program, the reinforcement of the police personnel. I can remember the propaganda about safer cities, years before 9/11 attack. On 2005-07-13 04:55, Casper wrote:

Then the government went on proposing a magistrature reform increasing the legislative power and reducing the judicial one, accusing magistrates to be politicized. In these days the Parliament is debating about the reform law.
Add up the measures against the terrorism and we'll be under a police state.
That is if the legislative power tend to bypass the judicial power in the executive.

Cochise,
I'd love to give you advise on a better place to live in this world, but i fear you'd have to exit humanity & enter the wilderness to escape the Police States that most of us now live in.
I'm in Scotland & the recent mass dispersal of piecefull protestors & heavy-handedness of the Scottish & English police, very clearly shows which direction we are headed.
I'll be in the Andes or the outback before this government forces me into any more of their ill-concieved manipulative shite.
