does anyone know a good wave editing program (like soundfordge) for OS 9

Peak, by Bias is what you need. Full VST integration :smile:
Or SonicWORKS, if you need (also) more specific sound mangling alghorithms :smile:
Not to forget SPARX XL by Works (closed devellopment if I'm right) :smile:
