you name it, Stardust
... and 90% of the 'upcoming' full 64-bit applications will dedicate 75% of their processing power to administrate 'unused' bits, resulting in 30% less overall performance
not everyone needs to run his or her own version of Google...

cheers, Tom

Forget it Frank,

CW devellopment ended with the current version.
You must have found no info at all regarding 64bit, so that should have said enough I guess: no info/download link, no drivers !

Simple as that.

Ronald

there IS developement happening on scope, it's yet to be seen exactly what form the next generation will take, but believe there are new chips and developement to come. a lot has to be shaken out in the market before a small company will make certain commitments of capital. the current cards in a current machine are more than functional for the next 30 years as studio gear, just like minimoogs are still used. there is no need for 64bit YET. when the current bleeding edge is commonplace, there will be a 64bit solution, assuming cwa is still vital.

bon giorno Canonball,

I might be a bit impatient, but OSX is around for so long and there are still no drivers for it, since these will need to be made from scratch, same for Windows64bit edition. This might take some time, but I guess for may people this might just be too long.

I realize this has to do with the weak position CW is coming from. If I was a company in this position, I would do al to survive. If they want to atract new customers, CW should certainly put their priorities, but by not adopting the new OS I guess it will be even more difficult.

cheers
Ronald
