Hi there....im fairly newish to computer music, and need some advice/pointers on recording from a midi device:
Specifically- Iwant to record in Acid(4.0)/Sound Forge(7.0) using patches from Reason 2.5
Im running WinXP SP1, Creative Audigy audio card, standard MIDI in/out cable (soundcard connected)
Ive tried using the record from MIDI option in acids record box but states that there is no device to record from and no midi thru ports are enabled??
Currently i can use my keyboard to play reasons instruments and control programs using the keyboard but i have no way of recording
Like i say - im fairly new to this, i mainly prgram things in reason "artifically" (Matrix sequencer) but any advice is much appriciated....ask me if theres anything else u need to know...
