So, is the general concensus that you can't have direct monitoring (like hearing what an input in real-time) in XTC-mode?
Whenever I try to fool around with mixers in XTCproject.pro, monitoring stops working while in XTC-mode.
It would be cool to hear my ADAT A+B ins raw the way I can in SFP while in XTC. But I guess this is impossible.
Direct Monitoring
I don't see how I can come by without any ASIO models really. I can get some low latency, however I was thinking in terms of hardware monitoring. In SFP I can monitor with SFP effects without any noticable latency. On 2005-05-12 11:17, symbiote wrote:
Have you tried with ASIO2 modules in your XTCProject.pro?

I know, that's why I mentioned ASIO2 modules, and not just ASIO modules. ASIO2 supports (or is supposed to, in any case) Direct Monitoring from within the sequencer in XTC mode, while ASIO1 doesn't. It won't work with effects, but you can monitor your ADAT inputs without ASIO latency. On 2005-05-12 17:27, voidar wrote:

I believe I am and have always been using ASIO2 modules. When I tried this in tracktion I had some audiable latency, but I did forget to remove the vol/pan and meter filter. I could try without those and see.On 2005-05-12 17:54, symbiote wrote:I know, that's why I mentioned ASIO2 modules, and not just ASIO modules.
