Hey everybody, this is my first post to this excellent Forum.... glad to be here..

I hope someone can help... I think that I have a problem that many people have run into but in a slightly different way.

My setup:
PIV 2.5Ghz, 1GB RIMM, Pulsar I card and 2 SRB cards with SFP 4.0, A16 interface, Cubase SX 2.2.

I've launched Cubase in XTC mode and have Cubase slave to the A16 on Adat A. Then I select 24 bit ASIO and 13ms latency for 44.1. Then I select Analog,S/PDif, Adat A, and MIDI for sources and Analog, S/PDif, and MIDI for destinations. I have a synth connected to input 7 and 8 on the A16 and can even see the audion in the input VU in Cubase and have it enabled on the track to hear the input(i.e the yellow speaker button) but I hear nothing. I'm able to play back audio from tracks and my DSP synths are working fine including with the Direct function. I just can't get any monitoring of the sound going through the A16 and into Cubase. I have Direct Monitoring on in Cubase but turning it off hasn't helped.

I apologize is this isn't enough info or is unorganized. I'm in a rush at the moment but hopefully it's enough for you to provide some much needed help!

Thanks!

I now know that this is specifically a Direct Monitoring problem within Cubase, or more specifically a way to make XTCProject.pro work with it. There's already a topic on this so I'll just post there if I can't solve this.

Thanks again....
