I'm trying to record a piano track using my Keystation 88 into CubaseSX2.

When I play, one note fires. Once recorded, there are 8 stacked notes for every note I press. So I basically have to select each note and delete that notes 7 times until there's only one instance and then move on to the second note, etc.

This is a really big pain in my balls and I'm wondering if anyone's dealt with this. My ReMote25 doesn't display this behavior. It has, however, far too few octaves to be used here.

Both devices are routing through a Steinberg Midex 8, and I've the channel set to use only the one input (as opposed to 'all midi inputs', or OMNI). In Cubase, the Keystation is then routed to my Scope Cards. Though this behavior is not limited to any one synth, be it CWA or VST.

I feel like this is a stupid question, but I've not been able to figure it out.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Sam

MIDI feedback maybe?
For fast fix, Sx has a 'delete doubles' function.
