I came across this file which I recorded in May 2002 when the exciting world of Luna II and Cubase VST 32 was new to me. My first experiments were to find a way to utilise my setup to record grooves which I could improvise on. The traci is only Em7 and Fm7 which gives a foundation for playing in and out of modes. So I recorded my Yamaha S80 (Rhodes, strings and bass)through Luna II. Also I used the VSTs Pentagon (mono synth) and the North pole filter. Play it Loud!

Played it loud.....liked it loud. Nice crisp sound isn't it! Liked your grooves and tone. Like to hear more.... when you can, upload a track or two.

Yup,definitely a nice jamming tune. It could actually be kinda fun to hear John Coltrane's Impressions played on top of this comping.
Are we listening?..

y0.
nice tune, only critisism i have is that i would prefer some subtle velocity changes to your ride cymbal. or even better, borrow a real one, mike it up and play it live! small trick that would (in my my mind anyways) give the tune a little extra.
Stå på!

tell me this is quantized.. else you've got some robot fingers! Fingers on fire! Great phrasing though.

Hi, and thanks for listening. Sorry, but the rhodes solo is quantized
I better come up with something more groovy which is not quantized...
