"My Page" on creamware.com broken?

Hi,

Well, I finally have my new silent PC up and running with the Pulsar in it. So now I need to downoload drivers and software.

I found http://www.creamware2.de/cw2/files/soft ... PE_v40.zip and am now downloading. Is that what I want?

Does it include drivers for Windows XP? If not, where do I get them from?

Now, the current critical problem, when I click on any of the "My Page" links, I get "connection refused" from 195.243.123.108. How long has this been going on for? When will it be fixed?

You got the right file. It has the drivers, OS and far most files.

My Page goes up and down all the time, just try a little later again. And again. eh.

This can get you started, unless you (have additional shop devices that) need oxe's or keys.

Well, the fun'n'games continue

The site is now up (after 3 days
of trying!) but the "allkeys.skf" link just spins for me still. Is this the same for everyone?

I also still can't get SCOPE 4

I try to get the codes emailed to me using the "Get SCOPE 4.0" link, but, after I hit the first few buttons, I get:

"""

...and I get the same whenever I try again. WTF am I supposed to do to get this software?!

I'm also confused as to what software I actually have and if I have the latest drivers. On the "acitvation keys" page, I've managed to match up most of the keys with software that appears at install time, but I still have keys for "Pulsar Application" and "Volkszämpler SFP" with no option to install these from setup.exe.

I'm guessing "Pulsar Application" is just the old Pulsar app so I don't care too much. But what is "Volkszämpler SFP"? Where do I get the thing I need to install so that I can use the key I have?

I have to say that I'm not suprised that Creamware has financial troubles with this kind of shocking level of support

And I just noticed that I can proceed with the install. For some reason the "Next" button is greyed out.

Why is that? Do I HAVE to get Scope 4.0 keys before proceeding?

This is really taking the piss...

there are just server problems. you do need to continue to try the activation. be patient, it will work, although if the server is down on the weekend, it might not function 'till monday.

the drivers are the latest in the 4.0 install. all the software you need is there, except for third party stuff.

I have had quite a few problems myself too, to get the key for SFP4.0, but it was useless, imposible, so I've go direct help from CWA and Ralf very kindly send me the activation key.

Now, NOTE THIS: you better keep this key in the net itself, as it seems it can degrade when downloading it. You may ague that this is a very common thing, ok, but it happens onces in a million times... But this the SFP4.0 key it happened to me several times. When I downloaded it from the net, it was ok, but after a few booting up and shutting down the computer, the key degraded itself, and would not work anymore.

I thought I had some PC related problems, I thought about many, many things, but the key itself. The problem for installation was in fact the key. I was in trouble, but fortunately, I kept the key in my mail account, so I downloaded it again and it works.

Just in case, keep yours in your mail account. It perhaps does not make sense, but it worked for me.

I like to suggest to burn all the essential stuff on CD once you get it

You don't want to rely on a website to get started later again eh.
