Hi Pulsar user!
I'm going to be a Luna II user, I have just bought one and I'm thinking to update my "old" Pentium II based pc... now witch is the best choice to do? should i prefer intel PIII or Amd Xp 1500 (both with the sugested chipset on mother board I found on the Cre@mware site)? What do you think about?
PLEASE HELP ME!
Thanx

Pentium IV would probably be better if you choose Intel, but if you don't, XP won't be a bad choice either. Cheaper but LOTS more power than P4. On the other hand some audio sequencing software companies are optimizing their products for Intel right now, though this might change in the near future.

If you go with AMD make sure to get a board with an AMD chipset, not VIA or any other because they have problems with PCI bandwidth. Get DDR ram (at least 380mb)
