I've used it and it's pretty good (and free!). Don't know how it would hold up against Warp69's P100/A100 reverbs though...

serious ??? you're kidding

ok, it doesn't cost much - but is it supposed to synthesize new hi-hats into drumloops ?
it doesn't transfer the room's character to the signal, but it's own sh*tty noiseprint - those rooms simply do not exist (but it's not spacey either...)

definetely 2 classes below Warp69's Ambient - now I begin to understand why that Princeton emu got such enthusiastic reviews.

cheers, Tom

the algorithm is crap - it completely blurs the highs.
And the thing got a kind of shoebox-material soundprint, it severely cuts the spectrum of the input - sparing lots of CPU cycles probably
Btw it produced a close to 20% load on my P4/2.4, not too smart imho...

This doesn't mean that it sounds bad or isn't useful in a mix.
It just means that it's not a faithful 'ambience'-producer.
(All of) Warp69's devices are incredibly precise in this context of preserving the characteristics of the original signal.

cheers, Tom
