Anyone that believes that will find themselves very confused, very quickly!

For any major world event, there are a dozen conspiracy theories... I don't think anyone can conclude, based on reading a website, that something is the "truth".

Everyone knows of the scam of Iraq. Everyone knows how members of US government gave contracts to their own companies. Everyone knows that the US pumped weapons in Iraq and Afghanistan and trained people there.

The problem is they think that's normal.

And now after visiting the EU recently, the EU agrees with that fascist and confirms how right he was. The arrogant bstd don't even need to be self-righteous anymore, now others start to work for his goal too. Sickening.

If anyone thinks I'm insulting GWB by calling him a fascist, then maybe check the definition of a fascist regime again.

Have you seen "THE TRUTH & LIES OF 9/11" ?
Because i think that's the level that doesn't care about fancy slowmotion pictures but is straight to the point. A step by step plan , that has been set in motion.
Pritty scary stuff.

Ofcourse lot's of story's go around on all sort of things. There is a difference in "conspiracy theory" and "conspiracy".

When saying conspiracy theory , one knows it's just a theory. But then after gathering more and more evidence the "conspiracy theory" becomes infact a "conspiracy".

The thing i'm mad about is that my country (Netherlands) is sending troops ,just after GWB visited europe , out to hunt for members of you know who. And keep promoting this "Terrorist"-thing to scare people just so they will support there actions. Our media has not informed us about any of the things that you see on these
DVD-documentaries. Fact's that proove that 911 wasn't a "terrorist" act. But a way for the people of U.S. to give in very important rights.

You won't be able to change any minds about it by posting a message here. The election was very close again. I keep hearing republicans saying that George Bush got the greatest number of votes in history. When they say that, they forget to mention that he won by a narrow margin and his opponent also set a historical record. This is what I call "distorting the facts" which is what republicans are so good at. Probably democrats too but they aren't in power so they are not the issue at the moment. I live in America and I can tell you there are still plenty of people who hate Bush. Probably 40% hate him, 40% love him and 20% don't know or don't care. It was a good idea to make Howard Dean the chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

This message is for those that do not now this. So they can re-think that what has been told , and judge for them selves.

In my country , most people don't.
They think the so called "terrorism" is real!
Everything that happens gets the mark "terrorism". Now i'm just telling you , there is NO terrorism. Sure there are psycho's and murderers , but they have always been among us. This feeling about terrism have been forced upon us to give government more powers. And yes this is my opinion. Based on more information and facts than most people have based there opinion on.

But that's just it! Opinions can change based on new information. I'm just giving information , and my opinion. Since I also beleve in the freedom of speech.

well, it seems to me it's going to be hard to change people's opinion in the US. I don't think stuff was reported with the right connotation in the first place. I think alot of poeple still think US is the hero of the show. I dunno, I guess you'd have to give the networks a break. You're not going to report "president gone mad" when it's your own country. But man, one step outside the US, and alot of people thinks it's totally lost its mind.

Well, I guess the Kerry states know, but for many of the Bush states... the concept of "the world" is probably a bit too technical to grasp. They're not quite sure if "the world" means "their state", "their region", or "the US". So I think for many of these people, to get their mind around the world is almost an impossible act.

I think it's hard for local people to imagine the amount of hatred that is targeted at the US since their series of crazy acts. US built an image of being this open, free thinking country... I don't think so. Sure, some people are, but the typical Joe down the street? I think people are fairly narrow minded and very conservative. You know, kind of like how people say "I don't know, I think I'll just stick to the American way", or "hey, why don't you speak English?" when they encounter something foreign. I don't think many people know how people view US overseas, and given their nature, many people simply won't accept it even if they had access to it. Of course, I'm talking about the rural country side states with more cows than humans. And there are quite a few.. enough to get Bush back up and running.

Oh well, all just fun 'n games for me. I'm just hanging around for the chit chat and the tea. Don't let anything I said really tick you off. You all know I'm no politician.

It's strange... the situation in this world and reality in general mirrors this thread in many ways. Whereas some people can look at the way western democracies are run and step back in horror, to most people it's pretty inconsequential stuff compared with the everyday problems they face - love/sex/social life, job/career, and in many cases basic survival and making it through the day.

Of course, the ironic thing is that the fucked up situations in our lives are a direct/indirect result of governmental actions - that's certainly something I can say about the UK, and in my limited experience of the US, I could say the same thing about it too. It's nothing new - this is what Marxist thought is based on (appreciating Marxist philosophy does not automatically mean I'm a Communist by the way, far from it) - the culture of a government inevitably filters through to the general population. You can see this in terms of corruption (corruption exists in all governments.. it's just that the western world is much more adept at hiding it) and economic philosophy - I think most businesses find it so hard to survive on honest terms, that the only way to survive appears to be to fuck people over like everyone else. You just need to fuck people over more times than you get the same done to you. It's a quietly desperate situation for a lot of people.

The main point I would like to make is that all the people who complain about the lies of western governments can't really preach about this stuff until they've taken direct action. By direct action I don't mean going on an anti-capitalist rally etc. Do they actually peel the system's fingers from around their own necks by stopping responding to advertising and other forms of propoganda? Do they stop buying alcohol/tobacco/drugs and stop watching TV? Do they stop using people as stepping stones to get the material things they want? And can they do all this at the same time as avoiding turning into heartless, loveless beings? These are the real questions people need to ask themselves rather than speculating about the specifics of the current global situation.

I don't think anyone in this world would doubt, deep down, that the world has always been run by power-hungry, depraved and amoral/immoral thugs. The real challenge is to free yourself from their system while still living your life to the fullest potential. The ways in which you can do this are infinite. Sometimes, it's more important to free yourself mentally than to free yourself physically. If everyone in this world stopped *consuming*, the situation would be pretty strange, in the short-term at least. The economy would disintegrate; there would be no cool new music toys, apart from anything else. However, could it lead to a better way of life? Who can tell. Could any of us even deal with a world like that? A total revolution of physical reality... how could any of us cope with that if we can't even revolutionize our minds?
