I did it just for a joke.
I used Igor's theme from the Celmo vocoder song, so I guess it's a partial arrangement. (oh, now I realize I should have asked first.. sorry) The other melodies are completely different.
So, it's a Pulsar Vocoder in a slightly New Jack Swing style.

Umm, and I'm singing again in this one too... but only this time it's ENGLISH for a change.

Bass is from Bluesynth, Vocoder II with a modular patch as modulator.
The rest is Triton.
Pheweeee, I spent one day on this baby and it was pure FUN!!

Man !!!

This is too funny, i laugh out thru this one!

I'm sure Celmo wont be offended, he probably will laught like me!

Very , very funky! I love the big bass sound at the begening. And you have a really good voice by the way! You sure know how to sing, and that really not my case!

BTW, the Celmo vocoder sounded better than Vocoder2 to my ear, more audible speach and better musicality.

Bravo! I'll keep this one on my disk!

Hey Hey

Yeah... it's definitely not one of my more successful vocoder attempts. I usually use one that i built in Nord Modular which has that "east coast" sound to it.. (I built it to use for a Earth Wind's Let's Groove gig) It must be the modulator sound from my modular patch that's screwing it up in this song. Getting the modulator right is so hard with these things...

Anyway, the Celmocoder is definitely worth a try. I'm planning on getting it but I just couldn't wait for the registering process etc. to get the song done.
For those who don't know, the original Celmocoder song is linked from a post by Celmo under the devices forum.

So... anyone else for a vocoder song?

installed IE and here we go,

fantastic, really, this is pro stuff. excellent quality, funny, funky, way too short. although it's not my style, i'd buy it, and that means a lot: i hardly go to the record shop lately cause music making is making me poor.

A ha! Hit your sweet spot borg? Anyway, thanx for encouraging comments.. Though, I'd have to re-record some of the vocals if I were to actually sell it. (hehe)
Please wait a bit longer for a sequal to this song. Celmo actually gave me a vocoder as a present (WOW!!) and I'm planning to do a celmo+my vocoder duet. Cool idea or what?
