Hi all !

this is one midi question for cubase users,
some time ago i bought alesis micron and connect it to one of my luna II midi in and midi out,
normally i record midi notes into cubase with keyboard, sometimes i draw notes with mouse,
but the thing is, that if i play with keyboard and in the meantime record into cubase i can't edit those recorded notes, like they are locked.
if i go to key editor, i can't move that notes, i must delete first that note and draw it with mouse, then i can do whatever i want,
could be this keyboard midi connection cause or cubase settings,
before, i didn't see anything like this.....

thanks

The only thing this makes me think of is that you can't edit any notes or alter a part whilst you are actually recording. Have you actually stopped recording when you are trying to edit the notes?

yes i did,
i have no problems with that, since my last keyboard yamaha an1x works well with cubase and recording notes while playing,

when i go to key editor, notes which was recorded are different colors , then notes draw with mouse, so i think something else must be recorded when playing ,

could be cause of my wrong sfp project setup or because i have connected keyboard midi in and midi out ?
should i try without midi in ?

check my sfp project picture , i send it to your email,

thanks

your problem is not related to scope. it is something in cubase.

Hm, just a guess.
Make sure that you have marked the track that you want to edit in the key editor and only that track. I use double click on the track I want to edit to open the key editor, so it is marked itself.

Hope my thoughts are right.
