This is a bit of a cubase post but I hope some people have experience with this problem and can help me with it.
I'm trying to make an asio project in cubase VST 5.1.It works great but Cubase doesn't save the asio input button settings on the VST mixer. I can turn em all on but the next time when I start the project the buttons are all disabled (off). Is this a cubase bug or am i doing something wrong?

i'm using cubase 5.1,
i go first to vst inputs, active all channels and then to vst master mixer and click on active button under busses, then i save track and when i go back to cubase everything is still active,
so it should work
I activated all the busses and the routing is ok. But strange enough I only hear sound when these input buttons (in 1L in 2L in 3L etc..) in the vst mixer (above insert and fx)are on.
Maybe I did something wrong in the audio/system menu?

This is normal.
I guess the reason is that this ASIO routing was meant for recording and not for audio monitoring in the first place.
I use that mixer input button (just) to check the input (recording) levels before recording.
mmm ok..But how can I enable the inputs then?
All the vst asio inputs are on. busses also.routing is ok..I just have to enable the asio inputs in the mixer.
In stop mode, when wanting to adjust recording levels, you must just be able to activate the mixer's channel input by pressing the button.
Also, the input automaticly gets active when recording actually starts (f.e. when left locator is reached).

But I don't want to record it..I just want to route the sfp signal through the vst mixer and then back to sfp.I'll try the update.thanks for answering.
