With tweaking, that is...Same 1.3 Gig Athlon,same W2000 Pro...same 761 chip/512 DDR Ram, same audio recording software...SonarXL and SoundForgeV...but very slowed processing compared to before on my tracks. Could this be the Matrox 450 drivers with high screen resolution slowing "the works". Might even break down and buy XL even tho I won't pay to have copies for my other machines.

I'm guessing it's an IRQ conflict. Try moving the cards around. Put them in one at a time. Reserve the Creamare IRQ in your BIOS for the slot the Creamware card(s) is. Creamware can and should share and IRQ with other CW cards but *never* with anything else. If you have more than one card the problem may be that your machine is seeing an older one as the host and you are not getting the ultra low latency. I had these problems.

disable Matrox Busmastering in
Display Properties
->Settings
->Advanced
->Options
->uncheck 'Use Bus mastering'

Use 16 bit color depth.
