I was wondering if anyone can help ....??
In 1994 I was doing my home studio projects on an Atari Falcon running Cubase Audio v2.06 Audio backup was thru a Falcon Digital Interface spdif to dat tape.
In 16 track mode CAF2.06 used audio data compression to turn the audio from 16bit to 8bit ( and the compressed audio backup file sounds like white noise at full 0db level )
I'm trying to restore some of my 16track songs .
Does anyone out there have some software that will convert back these compressed format files to normal audio ? ( My Atari system + dat etc is long gone )
