I think I'm just being really silly, but ...

just bought modIII ...

It looks like the package includes just the 'new' modules (right ?)

Does this mean I need to also buy mod II or is there a (probably really obvious) thing I'm missing here ?

I expected the 'modularIII' GUI to contain all the available modular modules.

God, maybe it is just too late for me !

Any help embarrasedly accepted !

Will.

I might be mistaken but ModIII should include both ModIII and ModIII? Just so you know most people use the ModII shell to work in as ModIII's shell has a few (more) bugs...

Isn't Mod2 with all the cards now? What card and software do you have?

I would have sweared that everyone is entitled to M2 now.
Are you sure you don't have it yet?

I could be wrong though....

It should come standard with the software now (key/licence-wise), but it doesn't come in the Scope 4 installation zipfile. The file you want is M2_SCOPE_v40_.zip, this contains all the Moduldar2 modules (which aren't included with the Modular III archive, juding by the size of it.) Simply unzip (NO DIRTY THOUGHTS PLEASE) both folders into your SFP directory, and you can start making werid noises =P.

Quick link to the file on CW's site:

you could redownload mod2 and mod3 here:

yes, afaik, you should be able to use mod2 unless you have a p1 and never bought the propack...

*and it looks like symbiote beat me to the draw...*

yup thanks for the help guys, it looks like I can download it for free (it's listed in my activation keys)

It's just that it didn't come up on my 'download' page.

Still using 3.1c here (I'm on two luna cards so have to pay to get the new GUI !) but have discovered the 3.1c version of the mod II file.

Cheers !

I take it that I just drag and drop all the files that currently sit in the mod III folder over to the appropriate folders in the mod II folder ... (i.e. an osc for and osc, an amp for an amp)

Thanks for the help,

Will.

Usually you would install Mod 3 on top of mod 2, and have both choices in the routing window/file browser.
