Upgraded to 3.0 for Pulsar I and now I can't find the dialogue where you set the no. of voices. I must miss something obvious? Before you could find it when choosing preset.

Thanks man! BTW, the new synths that come with 3.0 sounds pretty good to me.

Yep, they're actually worth using - unlike the default synths previously. To me the EZ was completely useless and the UKnow, Blue and Inferno weren't much better.

In V3 the new synths are a big improvement !

anyone notice, that now that the # of voices is at the device level instead of the preset level, we cannot have a 0 voice preset via program change from sequencer to offload dsp in a track? this sux.

any work around?

Workaround, buy a SCOPE

I prefer it this way, since before if you were tight on DSP and were simply going through presets, you could overload the DSPs with a preset that had a higher number of voices, causing the "DSP full" error message endless loop and probably needing to resync the DSPs (master/slave/master) etc. to get sound again.

If you need the DSP record stuff to audio... I guess.

Air_PoLLo: You wish! NOT for sale! Need another one instead.

Cool with the optimization option you get when the DSPs start to get overloaded. Helped me get another voice.

Algo: Interesting way to save voices! Maybe Creamware comes uo with a patch?

I miss this +/- Control. And in STS you only had to click and go to the No of voices. Now it is a bit old-fashioned.
Long live the mouseclick!
Happy pulsaring
