... and does it work with creamware cards?
I know i tried it earlier, and there was a major issue with what i believe was sample rate conversion, which made those i talked to sound like they smoked a big bag of the green stuff.

I have been using Skype for quite some time and I gotta say this is THE ultimate tool for communication over IP.
With my 3mbit DSL and a nice headset with boom mic I honestly believe the quality of this tool to sound much better than normal phone calls, so much that when I switch back to my cordless or even cell I miss the crisp quality of skype hehe.
Of course I use this tool nightly for extended periods of time saving me thousands of dollars in phone bills.
One month I was working with some one over the phone with a headset but using normal phonelines and my bill came in roughly over USD$800.00 with the following month touching the 500.00 mark, since that point in time I have used skype and have never turned back.
Thumbs up!

english!

Skype here too...
Many of my friends use Skype daily. We also have saved ridiculous amounts of money when doing international projects.
It is THE way to go.
In fact, it is no news really, this has been like this since quite a few years I have to say.
The sound is just amazing, you feel like being at an FM live show.
If there is still somebody here not using it yet, i would be surprised!

then have a good laugh at me Nestor
they already know more than enough about me - no need to supply digitized conversations. I understand your point in a fairly remote location where internet technology can fill a lot of gaps very easily - and affordable.
Just keep in mind that these are regular data packets running over (more or less) unattended nodes - anyone can access them without anyone knowing they did.
I don't say it's happening right now - but it can anytime...
cheers, Tom
