keep retrying it. there have been problems with someone(s) crashing the server a couple of months ago. maybe he/she's back. maybe it's the same strange fellow who sends viruses in my name.......

anyway, i'm sure they'll reboot the server and hopefully, when they do, it stays up.

So finally the message:

08.01. - Due to a server problem, user registration, the "MyPage" area and the online shop are currently unavailable. We are working on it and we apologize for inconveniences. The areas should reopen within the next couple of days.

For questions related to online registration, passwords, hardware & software key codes, please contact webmaster@cwaudio.de.

I mailed to that address twice, didn't get an answer, and 5 days later i got this:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software NEMESIS/mout on The delivery of the following mail has finally failed.
The first delivery attempt took place on Tue, 04 Jan 2005 18:22:03 +0100
support@creamware.de:
delivery failed

Is there still any CW support alive at all???

They seem to be outsourcing their IT needs these days so its probably taking time to get someone to fix it. Just be patient

Well, tech support is a paid thing (perhaps with a free period) across the industry. Having to pay to access information that allows you to use devices you've already paid once for sounds rediculous and unlikely. imo at least

Hm, don't think that will happen
But I got this email reply from Nomad, I asked about costs for reregistering A Blue Tubes bundle:

When buying a Nomad Factory software product second hand, please note that
Nomad Factory requires a US$150 fee for the service of transferring the
ownership of that product to your Nomad Factory user account.

Be advised that older version products may additionally require product
upgrade for continued support.

So...we can be happy with the €35 fee of CWA!

you should have the keys for everything but synth and sampler, and mix and master in the front of your manual....

Aargh, this is really annoying. i just got my Mac back and i can get into My Page, but i can't generate any devices i bought in the 'half price sale' - i want to try Profit 5, Vectron, Vocodizer, MasterVerb Pro, Psy-Q. Damn. Oh well, at least i've got space f's Black Box to occupy my time.

Oh yeah, it works, & then this happens..
DB Error: Anmeldung für Benutzer '(null)' fehlgeschlagen. Ursache: Keiner vertrauten SQL Server-Verbindung zugeordnet.
(Database busy. Please try again.)Die Operation mit einem Objekt ist nicht zulässig, wenn dieses auf eine geschlossene oder ungültige Verbindung verweist.

Btw, GaryB, because I bought my scope as "SRB" I used the original key + serial of my pulsar, but when the Scope SRB was transformed into a standalone Scope (because of problems) I couldn't use the pulsar-key anymore and got a new key through e-mail (that got lost..). I didn't get a new manual with the key & serial in it..
