Does anyone use Guitar Rig with Sfp??
In Standalone mode i can't get this to work with asio at all. I get an error from sfp and then guit. rig shuts off.
My system is very stable never had a problem. So i tried using it with wave source and dest. but then i get this feedback horror happening. The only way i can use guitar rig is in my Nuendo as a vst but i'd rather use it outside wiring it before sfp to get the fx rec. aswell.
(I do know you can't have nuendo running and expect guit rig to run with asio when i did this it was sfp and guit rig only just for practise.)I geuss i'm not too familiar with wave source and dest. connections, and latencies...
Any suggestions?????
Native Inst. guitar Rig ???????
HI,
I am a big fan of Guitare Rig. The problem you have is probbaly solved with the right monitoring options in your sequencer app.
You should check the guitar rig forum, this question has been asked and answered hundreds of time

Myself I always use it standalone on an old computer of mine which has become my guitar rig "host".

....you can't use asio in two different apps at once.(an asio limitation).....
this was noy the problem i know you can't use asio on two diff. apps at once.
it was only guit. rig stand alone doesn,t work with sfp's asio.
Probably have to use wave source dest.but i get feed back
i'll take a look at the guit rig forum thanks guys for your help.

HI,
it works fine as standalone in scope/sfp asio. I personally use it with noah usb asio on another computer nowadays.
What you are experiencing with feedback is probably due to a direct monitoring issue (or more probably, a loop between asio ins and outs. Plug a guitar and the RKontrol to do your setup. feb loops are often due to... an unplugged guitar (often, but of course you may have checked this already). but it is certainly something about your selected i/os and the cabling in sfp.
regards
Mehdi
