hi there !

i have one question,
my setup for midi in sfp;
midi source and seq.source connected to midi merger
and from merger (4,6 or :cool: to seq.destination

so i was able also to record knob movement from synths to cubase.

now i have connected external synth to cw card and default connection would be:
midi source-seq.destination
seq.source-midi destination
so can hear external synth
and other sfp synths connected to seq.source, but in this case i can't record knob movements into cubase.

how must i connect all midi modules , so i can use external synth + sfp synths and record knob movements into cubase ?

i will be happy for any help !

thanks

To control your project from hardware and sequencer, you could merge Card MIDI Source and Seq Source to your devices.

To control your native sequencer, connect Card MIDI Source to Seq Dest.

To control outboard gear, merge Seq Source (and optionally device's outputs, for controller update etc) to Card MIDI Dest.

But unlike that example, I like to split my hardware controllers to their own Seq Source and Dest. :wink:
