Pulsar 3 & Cubase 5 problem

When using 50% - 60% CPU in Cubase VST (ver 5.06) the Pulsar software
move very very slow, openning the Mixer, the Synths, changing presets ond so on.
I found that Cubase get "High Priority" while Pulsar get "Normal Priority"
(Task Manager -> Processec -> rightclick on the application name).
When I changed Cubase priority to Normal, the reaction of the pulsar software
was improved but it still slow comparing to how it worked on Win 98se.

Any idea?

How are you connecting Cubase to Pulsar? How many channels? ASIO or ASIO2? 16bit or 24bit?
Are you using the Big Mixer?

The connection between cubase & Pulsar is ASIO2 16bit 20 channels and yes, I use Big Mixer.
