I'm finally sick of switching from app to app doing different tasks, so am now considering one of the main hosts.

Since I'm a huge fan of Acid, I'm thinking that Sonar might be good ? Anyone with any hints or warnings ?

But for just a little bit extra I could go for SX3 instead.... are there any advantages going that way ?

I've had a look at various other apps such as Ableton, but am not too keen.

I know this is a huge "apples v oranges" area, but any clues, especially regarding sonar4 v SX3 would be much appreciated.
