Got a newsletter from those nice chaps at KeyFax.com today...glad to see that they're doing well!

I found an interesting link on their site to this product:

http://secure.keyfax.com/Merchant2/merc ... de=Flatboy

Not only is it a touch-screen MIDI controller, it's also a percussion pad & much more!

Check the videos out...I am pretty impressed for the price - $225.00. Xmas bonus this month...

This thing looks really cool, and is very similar to a device I was going to have built for me (for various reasons that project didn't happen).

I have a few reservations about it though - it can only give out one trigger at a time, and there is a fair bit of latency. The page also talks about future firmware being available in Q1 2004! Very old page.. whenever a company promises firmware these days, I don't believe it until I see it

Still, for the price, it's probably worth a gamble.
