The problem was the angle at which the truck was positioned. If they had the truck with the cabin facing the buildings, maybe they would have had a chance.

I want to know where the operator was standing, becasue if he was were I think he was he got crushed by the truck rolling over him, unless it happened in slow motion and he got out of the way.

Other than that, I laughed until I stopped. Very funny.

Well, he did have an outrigger deployed out the side of the truck, you can see it if you look closely at the picture. Someone forgot to do the calculations though, or they didn't account for the car being full of water.

well, considering the 1.3 ton car and the approx 0.4 ton of water (that is if he held the car above the sea surface for some time to let the water out), i can only say that the operator here is an arse. not only because the truck probarly is approx 1.8 ton, but more because u can allready see in picture 2 what is going to happen, and him/her levering tha object beneath sea surface would avoid the whole incident. then again, i would guess the crane should be equipped with a valve that lets go of lifting pressure once limit is made, but that doesnt rule out common sense, does it

I enjoyed this one too. And yes, dumb crane operator but... What about the moron who drove into the water in the first place?!?

I wonder if Ireland has replaced its old national sport of car-burning...
