I've had a weird thing going on....

Can't seem to remember if that's the way it supposed to be...

I use ULLI latency of 4 ms..
under cubase sx2 i use ASIO SCOPE which shows me latency of "4.376" or something like this....

is this normal? perhaps something wrong with my luna card?

if i switch to 3ms.. cubase shows "2.999"

what's going on here...

2.999 instead of 3.0?
pretty close I'd say

Msec=(NumSamp/44.1)
(where Time = "Msec" and Buffersize = "NumSamp")

So why are the values different in the different apps? What you're actually changing is buffersize, which will always be powers of 8/16. Also the lowest latency typically available in a given driver is usually 64 samples and typically shown as being 1.5ms. However

( x=(64/44.1) ) = 1.45124716553287981859410430839....

also ( x=(128/44.1) ) = 2.90249433106575963718820861678...

etc.

So each app is reporting a different approximation (SFP in lower precision).

you can just add a 2nd gen card. you may need to edit a file so that the computer recognizes the new card as the first card, then both cards share the advantages of the new hardware. of course, you could just uninstall the p1 and then install a scope project or professional, adding the p1 afterwards. you will need to get a stdm cable to connect the two cards, be sure and ask your dealer for one.

you'll get a nice plugin pack as well(synth and sampler OR mix and master, see the cwa website) with the project and two packs with the professional. if you check the value of the plugins, the card is pretty much free, so obviously the professional is a better deal(and more fun, having 14 dsps to 6dsps on the project).

if you want to EXCHANGE your old card for a new one, cwa is offering an exchage deal, there's a thread about it here: http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... orum=10&40 i think it's still in force as an offer.

and another question..
if i'm adding DELAY (for example) if my SFP 3.1c project, will i get latency too, or it will work real time?

the delay will be real time...
the minimum latency at 44.1k is 3ms. yes, the srb will be part of that too.
