Hi.
I had some problems after installing SFP 4.0, so now I'm going to reinstall the software.
A little help is needed to avoid I'll make another bad installation.
I hope anyone of you can reply the following questions:

- How can I download SFP 4.0 again? (I'm in fear my previous download could'nt been a good one)

- Must I uninstall previous version drivers and software before installing the news?

Every advice will be really welcome.

If you can view the archive (zip file) then usually this indicates the archive is ok. If you are installing on winxp then just run the setup.exe(I think) file and let the scope install program install the drivers for you. Vers 4.0 is a complete package so you are not required to install another version first. The installer works fine over here. Have never had a problem.

I'm using win2000 for now.
So I must uninstall previous version before, right?
Is it no longer possible to download SFP 4.0 from CW web pages? I can't find any link at present.

Sorry.
I was looking for Scope 4 in my personal download page. Now I realised it's in the download link of the CW homepage; but the zip archive I already have seems to be incorrupted. Useless to download it again...right?

The install for win2000 is the same as xp. You don't need to install a previous version first. Vers 4.0 is a complete package.

I found on a clean install, the trick is to ignore when windows2K/XP finds the card and cancel the "found new hardware" dialog. Then just browse to the setup.exe file on the SFP disk and let the installer program install the drivers for you.

If you can view the zip file contents then it usually indicates the zip file is ok.
If it was me, I would bite the bullet and start from scratch with a clean install of the OS first.

Thanks, guys.
I'll format the win2000 HDD one of these days (on this HDD I surf the web and experiment with new software).
