Thank you boys for your sincere opinions. I guess I open a Pandora box here.., I meant to open a discussion about why our options as users are limited in terms of Operating Systems.. Yes I admit we (or most of us) are on the specialized more deep side of computer music (some would say geeky), and th...

I'll explain more in detail gladly. I was recording all 10 tracks at the same time, the drums (5 mics, 2 of them stereo), and base, guitar and singer. I was monitoring them.. and all the sudden I could hear like a cut like this: Normal Recording would be: " AAAABBBBCCCCDDDD " What I record...

Interesting I've never used the simulations before, but as the problem looks like buffer lost, I thougth it was a way to check that.. So I think I'll uninstall GIGA.. and start from there. Is there another way you are aware to test the ASIO SCOPE to check if I'm losing buffer sync? or bring some lig...

Well.. with Giga.. It's been allways kind of unstable when I try to run that software you know... , so that was the first thing on my mind when I've got this problem. And yes.., it did not happend before..., but before I've never test the simulation. That's why I'm clueless. I followed the CPU level...

I'm wondering why all audio cards manufacturers (not only CW), and audio programs are kind of neglecting the huge potential about Unix-like or Unix-family of operating systems. It's not a secret that unix flavors are doing an amazing job on high tech movie studios (like pixar). The guys there run li...

I've NOT tryed it yet.. but that's the one I want to upgrade my system to. I'm pretty sure it will work perfect with scope.. specially cause you won't have to worry about memory-processor bottleneck or any other problem with data transfer between periferials. When are you going (if that's so) to upg...

you know...... even if the whole Scope thing would not be "portable" to new DSP's I think I'll keep them with me.. I'd use my cards as long as they "keep breathing". Edited: I just saw the specs on ADI website and those are code compatible with our DSP's..., so I th...

Very interesting..., I think if CW keeps up with these improvements on DSP desing.. we'll get to see AMAZING hardware power on future implementations of "Scope like" cards. I wonder how long would it take to port the code from Scope to the new DSPs. I think Analog Devices is known for pres...

You would not beleive how well it behaves on the "DSP hungry" department.. it is really light on DSP consumption IMHO. But you can feel it working on any stereo or mono material.. it's accurate and reliable.. I wish we could have other devices such as Vinco.
