Re: 96Khz Master/Slave Sync
I believe you are using ADAT as clocking interface? Not AES/EBU nor wordclock.

Hifiboom's reverb for the scope platform is my favourite - not just my favourite reverb plug-in, but my favourite plug-in.

Re: DI/mic and analog input
Thank you ! And for practical reasons, can I connect a mic preamp (UA, line out xlr) in the front input of the xite (mic preamp) thanks a lot In that case, it would probably be better to use an Xlr -> Jack cable and engage the pad. Still, I would guess it would be even better to skip the external p...

Re: Using XITE-1 Mic/DI inputs for synths
It would make extremely little sense to put 48 volt phantom power on the jack inputs. Use the pad, if you use almost everything else than instruments with strings or very old stuff like the Fender Rhodes. You can always start out with the pad on. If you only have to use very little gain to get full ...

Yes, as administrator. Otherwise there are a bunch of VDAT files it will not load.

Re: Is VDAT broken on Xite1?
It'd be great, if someone with an Xite could tell me he can make Xite work with a 16 input 32 bit VDAT running at 96 kHz.

Re: MSI Z87-G43 PCI performance fails compared to similar AS
It is great, that it worked. I am pretty sure that only one card actually communicates with the PCI-bus. And the other card(s) only communicate with the PCI-bus through the 'mastercard'.

Re: Plugin which can filter out clicks and pops in bad audio
One of the best pop filters for vocals is teaching the singer proper microphone technique (if (s)he does not already have such). Ps and Bs tend to fly in certain directions. So a singer who adjusts his/her angle toward the microphone can do a lot to avoid such issues. This is a bit easier in a studi...

Re: Small motherboard for Pulsar I based synth?
You need a PCI slot. They are not compatible. You can get converter cards, but that will take extra space, cost extra money and it may or may not work well. Go for at true PCI slot. Avoid socket 1155 motherboards. This one 'might' be a perfect match: http://www.idealo.de/preisvergleich/OffersOfProdu...

Is VDAT broken on Xite1?
So, while waiting for an answer from Supermicro regarding my useless PCI-results, I thought I'd install my Xite1 on the new PC. Win 8.0 Supermicro x10sla-f E3-1220 v3 If I empty my project Set the project to 96 kHz Load VDAT Assign the VDAT to DSP #2 Set VDAT to 32 bit Try to expand the VDAT to 16 c...

Re: Small motherboard for Pulsar I based synth?
I believe it is very hard to find a bad 775 motherboard for Scope. Depending on your choice of CPU you may not have enough power, though. Also, you could save a new Watt by using a smaller sized motherboard like a micro ATX and shut off all not needed things in the BIOS.

Right now, I am fighting extremely poor performance from a Supermicro x10sla-f. Another user have had good results with it, though. I am waiting to hear which BIOS revision he is running.

This is very rare. I tried a z77 motherboard and a q77 motherboard. Both failed hard - as many other 1155 motherboards apparently have.fidox wrote:I'm running Win 8.1 on socket 1155, Intel i7 with no problems. 2 years nowgaryb wrote:socket 1155.

As far as I know, there are at least three mayor versions of the big cards:
First generation 15 DSP cards with slow ULLI
Second generation 15 DSP cards with fast ULLI
"Second" generation 14 DSP cards with fast ULLI

Yes. I tried saving the list - also without any changes. It didn't work either.

Re: Does anyone have a solution to the Preset file error wit
This does not appear to work for me. If I
make a new preset
store it in the file
save the file
delete the masterverb
reload a masterverb
I get the same error - even though the new preset is in the list.

Re: Please help me get my Supermicro x10sla-f to work
Thanks for the advice to call them. I tried this, and the supporter suggested I "submitted an issue" online.
I am just wondering, could this be a problem with the Scope card itself? It is old after all.
