well, I dont want to diss anyone here, but what is the whole fuss surrounding another effect called vocoding? its just part of an arsenal tool of effects and to me, well it just seems weird to give it such a big amount of importance, especial when its been so much overused that I find it hard to get ...

sadly, I second steve-o completely on that one.
When you look at the benefactors of using one app compared to using two on a one system solution, you quickly understand why bill gates defines his OS's - "multitasking".
especialy with regarding realtime applications - in our case - audio - its ...

well, I have done so myself (record same synth and same source in XTC and SFP mode).
the difference is obvious.
from what I heard, CW said that the difference is that XTC sounds brighter which is suppose to explain the reason, but as a musician I can tell you, its got alot more to do with a simple ...

I have done some experiments on the above topic.
XTC vs. SFP in terms of sound.
and you will not believe it, but XTC is sounding majorly better than SFP. (host=SX103).
there is a considerable improvements in clarity, punch.
just for a quick test: try the initial bass drum on EDS8 under SFP and then ...

Hi there,

to fix that problem, copy all the sfp/devices folder into sfp/devicesXTC folder so that all .dll vst XTC plugs have their twin .dev under the main SFP dir app.
now SX/Logic will boot with no warning , and will enable ALL XTC working plugins.

btw: why is the SX XTC lattency so bad? and ...

The sound of the new 4080L in this update has changed I'm afraid at least here for the worst. there is no density in the ER , and clearly the nice sound the plugin had is now replaced...
Anyone has any idea what was done in the algs ? why was it changed at all?

I think its great that the bundle finaly recieved an update after around 2 years. so thats definately nice to know and highly appreciated.

I just have two questions:
1. How come 4080L still has a prior bug that was not fixed in this update (the loading uppon a new project) the cset does not fix all ...

hey there,

I dont know if I am doing here something wrong in terms of XP
tweaking , but I'd like to share some surprising results I got when
using Os3 under XP.

I've been wanting to get rid of 98SE ever since I've seen that OS.
flaky is the word . When Os3 was released, first thing I did ...

Ok.

I've been a pulsar user since pulsar I was introduced.

You cant say I am not supportive of the platform. cant say I didnt way for 3 years to get bugmixer off my computer.

I bought 2 more pulsar II cards.

last thing you can say is that I bash it. had many complains, and hardly ever posted ...

No "serious" phase problems?

A Mixer should have no phase problem if you intend to use it.
Once there is a slight shift in phasing, it degrades sonicaly. especialy in those high-mid freq.

I dont know about you, but already got alot of reports from people having the exact same problem. so its not ...

thoroughly=more than CW did apparently . and thats enough. I dont need to keep testing it when in a 5 minute timeline I already found a severe problem.

All channels should be compared in pairs against channel 1. that is: ch1 ...

ok , this I think has gone enough as far as I'm concerned.

I have throughly tested the pulsarmixer (from the "pro" pack), and I can easily say pro isnt the exact word for a mixer that has PHASE PROBLEMS!?!?!?.
How the hell are we supposed to use this if channel 13 cannot phase allign with channel ...
