HI all!

Thanks to astroman "insight" effort in explaining me those important concept

I was really meaning Pulsar under OS Classic and not OSX emulation, but thanks anyway!

It might seem impossible but I've always used SFP 3.x via Cubase so I've never mind the latency between Pulsar Midi ...

Hi guys!
I'm wondering to use my "old" pulsar in a real commercial studio environment that I'm creating.

I've always used it on a pc platform and it worked smoothly.

Apple "pros" told me that I'd be considered a mad if I tryed to use SFP 4.0 with a Mac G4 Dual Processor / OSX Panther.

I would ...

Hi all! I've read a lot about SFP Card compatibility with new Mac G5 but I can't state for shure "Yes, I've understood".

Owners are hungry due to the presence of only 1 Pci 5volts slot that's SFP compatible (isn't he ).

The question is: for all the users that owns a single SFP card, is MAC G5 a ...

Hi Kimgr, thks for your kind and detailed answer.

I have a 02RV2.Pdf but it's Italian and there's no mention at all! If you search for "24 bit" you only get statement related to dithering, that's what scares me: I suppose datas are simply dithered to 24 bit NOT sampled!

So my main question remain ...

Thks!

So we can state that a 02r mixer is ** NOT ** able to sample Analog data with 24bit depth but can be a "pass-through" for "pre-recorded" 24bit samples.

This explain me why I can send samples 44.1Khz@24bit to my 02r ADAT IN via SFP "Asio 24 Source".

The last un-solved question is : why I ...

My real problem is that I'm going to use my SFP to dimostrate that it's possible to create with it the core of a professional studio.

But I MUST be sure that I'm actually selling to my future customers data sampled with a REAL 24 bit depth ...

A question: I've heard a lot about the sonic improvements in recording at 24bit vs 16bit ( and it sounds really logical ) so I decided to try.

How can I get 24bit from my Yamaha02r ADAT port into my Pulsar II? Am I Supposed to have a ...

Dear Marcus,
I don't use SFP3.1c 'cause my system was stable before installing Win XP Professional ( i've also problems with my Akai disks but I've read somewhere in the forum that this should get fixed by a new version of the akai.dll ).

Now I think I'll perform the update.

A question : can I ...
