I bought it because I believed it could do what was written on the box (Pulsar XTC). Unfortunately, it didn't. Now I've sold it and I'm back in making music instead of constant troubleshooting.

If you want to finish the paid project on time and want to operate your Pulsar w/out its I/O on it, unfortunately, you're most probably just dreaming... Actually, even if you just want to operate your Pulsar with another brand I/O, I'm sorry, but I don't think you'll be able to do it and have it ...

AFAIK, since I sell the card along with the plugs, there's no license transfer fee. I'll reset my registration info, so that the new owner will be able to simply register it to himself.

Yes, but I also felt I'd probably need more DSP in the future, so I'd rather go for a Scope Professional in a while; I have only 1 PCI slot left, so adding a second Pulsar wouldn't be a choice, I'd need a Magma as well.

Some of them are extras (MasterVerb Pro, Optimaster, PsyQ, Mixer Extension 2, EDS16i, SB404 etc.), but all are included in the price I wrote. Actually, I'm thinking of probably throwing in the Synth 'n' Samplers pack as well, which includes Minimax and Modular III for a total price of 550 euro or so.

Hi,

I'm selling my Pulsar XTC to go for one with I/O. It includes the Mix 'n' Master pack (the old edition w/out Vinco) as well as EDS16i, SB404 etc. Here's a complete list from my Creamware page:

" Arpeg 02
" EDS 16i
" Effects Package I
" Effects Package II
" GraphEQ/s v3.0
" Main ...

I'm not a Pulsar guru, but I know for sure that SX1 doesn't support Plug-in Delay Compensation on send effects (only inserts and synths). You have to compensate for it manually, with the appropriate Creamware plugs.

Sam, please post the link, I'd like to see what this guy was going on about (hope it wasn't you!). There is a setting in Nuendo that can cause midi timing to go awry & it's *not* a Pulsar thing at all. XTC timing hasn't been a problem for me, even in SX 1 ...

Hi,

I'm using a Pulsar XTC in Nuendo 2.2.0.33. The problem is that the XTC synths don't play back on time. The only way to make them play back approximately on time is to adjust the delay parameter on the MIDI track that drives the XTC synth. For example, if I have set my ASIO latency to 23ms, I ...

Adding more synths/FX increases the output latency of my RME, so that's not the problem.

Well, I've faced a lot of trouble after purchasing my Pulsar XTC. Is there any of you using this card succesfuly as it was meant to be used, with some other brand card for I/O?
