OK, drop the "sped up" It's mostly crackles, and the sped up-like sound is more reminiscent of that in very old movies where people seem to walk funny cause there are frames missing. I know how a problem with a wrong samplerate sounds and that's not the case here.

You can find the other thread through the link in my post. But it's a brandnew Dell Computer (Dimension 8400 Series) XP, more than enough RAM and harddisk etc.

OK in syteminfo I find:

IRQ 17 Intel(R) 82801FB/FBM PCI Express Root Port - 2662
IRQ 17 Creamware Pulsar

and there's another list with ...

at nprime: No, it's not a sample rate issue as far as I can see, I checked that. The IRQ-thing is maybe something to look into. But what's an IRQ-conflict and how do I check it ?

I'm using a wave-editor primarily (Adobe Audition) and I really don't use much of all Pulsars bells and whistles. I do ...

Hi, I just installed my old Pulsar-card in a new computer and now everything seems OK but when I record the sound comes out all crackling and slightly sped up.
I sought help in another forum :

and they sent me here.

I hope ...

I'll investigate it further but I had the same problem with a soundsCD I bought which is 16-bit 44.1Khz and several sounds from the internet which is edited myself in a wave-editor and saved as 16-bit 44.1Khz. On the other hand I did manage to make a normal program from a set of melletronsamples I ...

maybe it would but I don't have a modV2. I'm one of those Pulsar1-suckers. I should buy it I guess but there's a lot of other things I should spend money on first. It's nothing that complicated or odd I'm trying. There should be others who know how to make it work. But thanks for the suggestions ...

No, the sound is just wrong and it's not in a normal scale (I tried with goodquality stringsamples from a CD I bought, and my programs end up like instant Bela Bartok, which can be nice but it's not what I wanted)

iRAmp ? Is that like an improved version or something ? Where can I find it. By the way, e-mailing Line6 maybe isn't such a bad idea. I just hope that the Pulsarpods won't be too expensive coz I gotta have it.

I still feel there should be something like the Pod in Pulsar as well. So far there's only the ampsimulators from Ingo Raven you could check out (as far as I know). Compared to the amount of synteseizers and effects I'd be nice to have some more of that stuff.

well, that's the point, I can think of several ways to make loops and stuff, but I want to be able to just load them and play them from my keyboard like a normal instrument (like those on that BestService CD). Maybe it has something to do with my midikeyboard but it's a very common one and I can't ...

I'm probably overlooking something very simple but I've been trying for months now and I stil can't make decent programs out of seperate instrumenttones. An example. I found tenorsaxsamples; one octave, every note from C4 to B4. I use the WAV2AKAI-program to assign each note to it's corresponding ...

Subject: VTube 1.5 and Disto 1.1 ?

Do you mean the VTube 1.5 and Disto 1.1 ? I use the VTube together with Ingo Raven's ampsimulator but the Disto 1.1 only makes scary sounds (I must be doing something wrong. I downloaded it again just now, maybe it works this time ) I would like a simple design ...

I'm definitely gonna try it out, but indeed it should be in Pulsar so you can just hook it up like an ordinary amp. And I only downloaded the demo so I hope the limitations won't be too annoying.

Hi all, I posted this question before but I'm still searching for an ampsimulator. I liked the idea of Pulsar as a virtual studio but the emphasis seems to be on analogue synths now (very nice also) but I miss amps, more like line6's ampfarm/pod, for guitar and bass. I know the ones Ingo Raven did ...
