I have an Asus p4p8x. This is in fact exactly the same layout as the p4p800, only the 865P chipset is exchanged for a 865PE chipset on a p4p800 (865PE can clock cpu and ram independently). I have a Scope 15 dsp-card, a Matrox g400, a g450, an ati7000 and a tvcard. With a p4-3.2 it runs rockstable ...

I had this problem at startup after a brand new install:

"Can't find DSP file Midi Channel filter - please check installation"

after exiting Scope I run cmd.exe, and typed:
C:Program Filesscope4>attrib -s -h -r /s /d *.*

and it fixed the problem!

If you're an owner of a Pulsar 1 card and intend to upgrade your 4 dsp machine to a 19 dsp machine, be aware of the fact that because you only have 1 stdm cable between the 2 cards, you will get communication errors all the time. You should better sell your pulsar 1 and buy a Classic IO plate or ...
