Re: Psy Q's shape function

Thanks for the replies.
$250 for the plugin, might be a bit much but I'll definitely try the trial version.

Re: Psy Q's shape function

Would anybody know a non-Scope equivalent of PSY Q?

I am just getting back into audio and I only have my laptop and I'm then unable to run Scope, but this is one effect I am missing the most!

Hi Andrew,
I'm a user of Sygate Pro, and I can confirm that sometimes it gets confused and doesn't report the correct program name.
It doesn't happen a lot (once a week for me maybe?), but when it does the problem seems to disappear after a reboot.
It's quite annoying, but usually I'm reassured by ...

That reminds me of the Oasys PCI plugin "The Producer", which has about 10 controls, including that one:<p>

<b>Desuck</b><br>
<i>0-100. The most important knob of this effect. Although there are limits to its
powers, in general this knob can be used to improve a signal that sucks.</i>

I just KNOW I'm gonna get flamed for this, but: why the vertical on/off switch?
I think it may make the device unnecessarily confusing for new users. A MUCH better solution would have been an horizontal enable/bypass slider (I know, it may be esthetically less flashy, but you have to admit it makes ...

Hey Hanzen,

I just tried these effects in XTC, didn't work.
Then I did what you did, and it did. Work.
Life is so easy sometimes..

Cheers

Hi keyhan,

I'm having similar problems with a similar mobo (IC7-MAX3)..

I spent the last 10 days hacking everything I could think of, to no avail (yet)

That kind of problem can be very difficult to resolve, and I will just tell you what I did, it didn't work for me, maybe it will do it for you ...

After trying the BAM demo for 5 minutes, I just couldn't resist and bought it..

But now I'm wondering if I'm ever gonna be able to use that great device, just because I can't get back my presets when reloading a Cubase project!

I tried everything I could think of, saving any savable thing in sight ...

Not sure this is what you want, not sure it works, but if you have XP, you could try setting the following registry key to "1":

HKCUControl PanelDesktopAutoEndTasks

There should be an equivalent for other windows versions..

Just a thought: What if we had an transparent effect that would do nothing, but just force Cubase to do the export at the same rate as the cw i/o cards?

When I find the time and the energy I'll try to have a look at the vst api, it may be possible..

I'm not sure about the piano sound on the swing parts: sounds much more synthetic than the slow parts.

Great track!

Helo Mano,

I'm not sure I understand what you said in that other thread about "Mixdown works great now".

Do you mean you got the "Export to audio" thing working, without using the Merge output?

If this is the case, does the bouncing happen in real-time (ie. in the time necessary to play your ...

This is my first post here, as I've had a Pulsar XTC card for 1 week only, so I'll start with: Hello everybody!

I'm very satisfied with the XTC (big thanks to Gonzoft & friends for the tips), but I'm quite annoyed by the following:

1. The behaviour of the SFP windows (for example windows for ...
