I've got myself a dual xeon 2.66 (512kb cache) with asus-motherboard and all, but my pulsar card doesn't seem to be willing to give any sound...

I've selected creamware as default device to playback audio, but windows media player gives me an error message saying the device isn't installed ...

Okay, I received a mail from Ingo Raven at the Creamware support center. Here's his answer to my question.

Anyway, the problem is probably your PCI Latency Time. Go to your Bios setup and change your PCI Latency Time to 128 or even 255. That should do the trick.

Bouncing, as in exporting, is not possible in XTC mode.

I have mailed the same list to the support service of Creamware, but reading the users comments, customer service by Creamware is not that bright at all. I do think this is a major flaw and it should not happen! The only way to record a midi track to audio with XTC fx would thus be the use of an ...
