Hola!!
Is it possible in the future to run a program like SIR that use the DSPs of a CreamWare board??
It will be fantastic!!!

Nope. Not with the current CW boards.
Since they have'nt got onboard RAM the stress on the PCI bus would be WAY to big.
Simply not technically possible for the moment.
Sorry.

What about some clever[1] math to model the selected impulse as a DSP algorithm?
A bit cleverer would be to 'parameterise' the algorithm, giving you control over the reverb.

[1] really, really clever... :-/

So... how many ram is there on a powerpulsar board?
Is really the PCI bus so slow for this??

The CW cards don't have onboard memory (not completley true but close enough).
The PCI bus is definitley to slow.
Except for very short reverbs. Very short.
So in reality it isn't doable on a CW card.
I had an idea of turning a Korg Oasys (which has on board RAM) into an Impulse Reverb but that is another story.

I've always understood the 15 dsp boards to have 8mb of ram on-board. More reverbs can be loaded on to these cards than the smaller ones, in any case.

I also was told the 15 dsp cards had onboard ram. Although the plug would only be for the "powerpulsar", "srb" and "Scope" users. Í`m all for the IR plug!
