From unsteady "samplerate" now "Hardware revision 30 detected". Frustrating. Any help?

I get a similar message when I boot my laptop and try to run SFP without the magma box connected... sounds like you need to reseat your card(s)!

This is what is written on creamware.com regarding this error:
"This error is mainly restricted to Windows 2000 or XP. Probably the card would work fine under another OS.
There are different workarounds for this problem:
1) Do not run Win2K/XP in the ACPI mode, but in the Standard PC mode (and possibly assign new IRQs in the BIOS)
2) Disable "PNP OS" in the BIOS.
3) Reinstall the driver from the directory Pulsar3Driverwin2k of your HD.
4) Try another PCI slot for the card."
