Hi,

When I hook my External CDRW into any USB port (USB 1.1 or 2.0) it crashes my SFP 3.1c, how I can fix it?

My setup:
Windows XP SP1, DX9a
GigaStudio 2.54
Cubase SX 1.06
Luna II
Sony 32/10/40 with CD-509-U2 External Enclosure

Your Creamware card is probably sharing IRQ with a USB controller, moove the card to a slot where it does not share any irq, og change irq in the bios if you can..

My system also crashes if i have my pulsar in an irq sharing position with usb, especially if I transfer some samples or something over usb...

No irq sharing, no problem

I did it but I have it in the IRQ 22 and nothing else is there, I also tryed to change the IRQ in the BIOS (motherboard Intel D850MV) but it didn't change the IRQ that I selected in the bios.

is your system already set up for ACPi ? Use the standard-pc mode.

and by the way If I were you I`d deinstall dx 9.0a .

Type dxdiag at the run prompt of your system to see what I mean.

Yes, it's on ACPI but I don't know how to disable it.

As I know Direct X can't be uninstalled so why do you recommend me to uninstall it?
