This song learned me a lesson in beeing simple. I allways have around 322 layers of beats, synths and basses in my productions, and while it may sound really cool, it doesn't allways fit the song. This song had so many layers so that the original melody was totally gone in a mess of dirty drums.

I hope you like the result.

Comments on the mix are welcome...

I was settled to use Creamwares new Interpole filter, but something went wrong with the shop, so I used Ohmforces Quadfromage instead.

USES : Timeworks EQ, compressorX and 4080L. Syncrotron, Prisma, MODIII (Vocal Stepfilter)

I like it as it is and I haven´t got any fundamental improvement for it.
Do you miss something?

Cheers

I loved this - kinda reminded me a bit of an old Psychedelic Furs song called "Love my way" - but much more modern sound to it. Nice and spacious - plenty of room ... and nothing missing.
Cool

sandrob: got me there... awesome song, btw. You think the beat is too obivious? I mean like barely legal?

blgrace: gotta listen to Psychedelic Furs, never heard of them... But I might like it, if not, for their cool name...

I think perhaps it still gets a little messy, espcially after 1. refrain. I migth skip the main apeggio synthline and stick with the strings.
